Founded in 1511 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII and the second largest of the constituent colleges of the University of Cambridge, Longden solid timber doorsets were the natural choice befitting of the esteemed St John’s College.

Longden supplied 149 doorsets with 30 minute fire resistance, including Chippendale, raised and fielded panel, and Sheraton, flat panel, door constructions as well as vertical boarded doorsets.
