Following a comprehensive TRADA audit of their Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) systems and procedures in November last year, Longden Doors has successfully achieved FSC accreditation.
 
FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests. Products carrying the FSC label assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

A spokesman for Longden Doors said, "The FSC standard is a particularly important to us in this current climate where customers are increasingly requesting evidence to show that their materials are procured from legal, ethical and sustainable sources.”

Longden has been manufacturing bespoke, solid timber doors for well over a hundred years and many of the UK’s historic listed buildings rely on their expertise and traditional craftsmanship to maintain and preserve their heritage.
